kfk
I've always fished out of a hub house in the past but I just bought a Jason Mitchell Thermal X and have a simple question. I'll be transporting it on my snowmobile trailer to where I'll be fishing and wondering if the travel cover will stay on the house by itself, does it have to be strapped on with additional tie downs or should it be left off while transporting it at road speed? I know it's called a travel cover but I'm not positive it's meant for road speeds. I'm assuming that putting th ecover on and strapping it down somehow is the way to do it but I don't know for sure. What do you guys do when transporting similar flip up houses? Thanks!
Fred_Bear
Strap it down, very little time/work for the extra insurance and peace of mind.
SwivelDigger
+1 from experience......strap it down or you'll be stopping to get it or buying a new one
MNCPRGUY
It fits pretty tight but I still run two ratchet straps across mine.
