Swan Lake

Swan Lake South of Webster, 50 boats today, what is going on. I was traveling to Aberdeen, all meet between Swan Lake and Webster was MN. or Iowa plates, must have move the state line agian, or some people don't have to work!!!!!!!!

Perch are biting. 12 inchers. Some nice walleyes on perch shad raps. Perch are biting on worms, waxies, and small leeches.

It seems amazing to me that Swan can keep putting fish out like it has been. It seems every summer and winter the lake gets fished super heavy and yet you can still catch good numbers of quality fish year in and year out.

good point RB !! - I just got the pics done of the eyes we cpr'd on Swan and that other lake where you hit the rock. They turned out great. Will send them South for you. I like to keep plenty of eyes and perch myself guys but we spent two days just Catch and releasing them and had a blast and when it was sunset we could just drink beer instead of having to clean fish in the dark and mosquitoes, that was nice. Trust me, try it, you'll like it. I talked with another guy that has been out that way every other weekend and has only kept his walleyes on one trip, so it's catching on, but I doubt it will ever be like bass and musky fishing.

Excellent work fellas! Toss some back to catch again tomorrow. I hit a rock too!! Been out of commission for a while but will be ready to go this weekend again. Anything much going on?? Been pretty quiet lately here on the lakes near watertown.
