if you are talking about the in fisherman 2014 ice guide the fish in the picture is a perch not a walleye.

This years F+W Ice Fishing magazine has Nick Chiodo holding a walleye with a vex in the picture. That might be what you are thinking about.

I picked up my F+W copy at Mills Fleet farm in Des Moines on Friday. Might want to check there if you have a local Mills.

Both should be out now... and both are a must-have for ice anglers! I love forward to getting mine every year... sort of symbolizes that the ice fishing season has officially started!
