Apps for Anglers

I’ve been playing with this cool NEW iPhone app program called “iFish Minnesota” and it’s a neat tool for anglers. It allows you to plan your next fishing trip (by learning where, when and how to fish a certain body of water) as well as record your fishing outings and connect with other anglers to share photos and reports. A fun way to network along with providing exciting entertainment. You can also download versions for other parts of the country and Canada as well. Definitely worth the look!

Check it out at www.appsforanglers.com to see the complete list of apps available. Rumor has it they will be expanding into other states as well, but you can download “iFish USA” to cover the most popular lakes across the country too.

Very cool program!

Matt - do you know if this app shows lake depths? Similar to MN DNR's webapp?

Just a note - you have to pay for the app.

Very new - released on 2.12.13 (as noted by OP)
