aaron otto
Friday was a complete bust. Left home early to make the 4 hour drive end just as the sun broke.Took a day off work that ended in with one hold drilled, a broken auger, and frustration. Was cold on Friday. This image was taken just after packing the truck back up once the realization of not being able to drill any holes that day. Saturday I met up with my uncle. Thankfully we used his auger and the luck changed. Caught more than any mans fair share of big Gills, but this surprise fish was the trip-maker. Said goodbye to the bucket and continued down the path of catching Gills.

aaron otto
It was pretty cool Lawrence. Looked so big on the monitor. Did some tight-line this weekend. Took my line and a red Sharpe. Colored two feet of the line right below my rod after we got the depth right. Was amazing all the times I set the hook to find weight based upon the line's behavior not seeming right. Thank you Lawrence really appreciate you putting me onto this technique. I'm sure it will take years of practice, but wouldn't have even got it started if you hadn't offered to help. ao
