Anthony Anania
I got my first fish trap today. I got the kenai. I have been fishing alot more lately. I recently moved to brainerd, mn and have met some people who love to fish. The all had fish traps and all I had was a plastic sled to carry my gear and a folding chair to sit on. Well one of the stores in the brainerd area had a kenai on sale and the deal was too good to pass up. The information on this site has been worth its weight in gold. Thank you to all the ice team prostaff for sharing what they know about the sport of ice fishing. It has led me and my fishing buddies to catching more and bigger fish and who doesn't love a meal of fresh fish.

hydro
Here is a pic of my Clam Kenai from yesterday. Mods include the removeable hitch, “Hifax” runners offset 1” to create a “ski” effect, fold down boat seat with a backrest, rod holders, and LED lights. It’s hard to see, but on the back of the sled is my drill/auger. With an 18V Hitachi drill and a sharp 7” Mora auger I managed to get almost 40 holes through 16” of ice. Best thing I have done for ice fishing in years. Here is a better pic:
