7pm this Wednesday at Thorne Brothers in Blaine, MN...

Title: Show Love for the NonGame. Three fish you should be chasing this winter.

Description/Bio: Scott Mackenthun is a returning speaker to the Thorne Bros Wednesday night seminar series. Scott is a fisheries biologist with a passion for catching Actinopterygians (google it!). Scott will talk about three fish species that lack the universal appeal of other Minnesota gamefish but will give you good sport and fish for the table this winter.

I've listened to Scott speak and he does an amazing job. You will definitely go away with a pile of info!

This was fantastic. Having an angling Biologist give you a road map on how to, where to, and what to use for catching not-so-often chased fish species in the state of MN. is pretty special.

Would highly recommend seeing Scott speak if he presents again! Thank you Scott and Thorne B for putting this on.

Thanks for the kind words and thanks for coming out Aaron. It's usually a good group, a mix of newer anglers to some pretty serious and successful sticks. Glad there's enough folks out there that would rather talk fishing than sit on the couch.

Good luck this winter. I may be making a tullie run some time next month if you wanna meet up. Send me a PM.
