ice conditions

As of last Sat. they were still driving on both of them. The ice is getting a little soft but is still pretty thick - where there is ice. There are some open spots on Waubay so you have to watch where you are going. If you are taking an atv you should be fine. Good Luck!!

Was on Bitter Lake, Saturday (3.13) Didn't catch a thing, probably because the wind/weather was terrible (25-35mph winds). Ice is soft with access getting pretty knarly. Though lots of people going out with trucks still, but I'd advise ATV because of the soft ice. Walking wouldn't be a bad option as well, no snow on the ice.

i was wondering about the ice conditions on waubay or enemy swim, thinking about heading up this weekend.
