Driving on Waubay

Good day to all you fisherman! I have a question in reguards to mobility on Waubay. I am coming up this weekend and am curious how much snow is on the ice. Are most people able to pull out permanant ice shacks? Further south there is a lot of snow and it is quite hard to be mobile. Please let me know how the snow and how fishing is as well. Any hot spots or areas that are producing well!

The weekend before last we saw quite a few perms hauled out. We came in on the south east side 26"inches of ice , you definitly needed a 4X4.I'm sure it hasnt changed much, if anything a little more driftin.

Went out of Grenville on Mon. Some big drifts but 4x4's pulling big houses with out much trouble. Fishing was good. Perch were a little more shallow than last week. spoons and rat finkes tiped with spikes and waxies. also good action on minnows on a plain hook.
