I'm as greenhorn when it comes to South Dakota fishing. Can I get some general info about the lake, where to stay, what to fish with and where to fish? If you want to catch'em for me that would be OK too.
Please Help
thanks

Bring a flasher and gas for your auger. I fish the south end of the lake mostly. It is rare that I don't plug 50 + holes to find fish. Wish I could pattern them but haven't yet.
When you do find fish, Kastmasterss and buckshot spoons with waxies or power grubs seems to do the trick for me. Green is a good color most days.
good luck

Sportsman's Cove in Webster for the best bait and info.
Waubay lake for decent perch and now two 14-16" walleyes per day.
Marmuska jig and wigglers(spikes)(maggots)
Dakota Diner, for good and fast breakfast, south end of the main street in Webster.
Frontier Steakhouse next to the Diner for great suppers and cocktails.
The Decoy Bar for serious drinkers.
Have fun
