Anyone fish Eastern South Dakota this weekend? I finally got my boat ready to go this weekend. Looking for a place to go next weekend.

Fished West Bend Sat.
Lots of wind. Lots of big waves. Lots of fish. Keep 3 that were in the slot.

I fished Waubay Friday all day and boated over 75 Walleyes on Jig/Minnow.

They were virtually everywhere--trees, rock piles, points. 14' in the morning and 18-20' in the afternoon...

Only got 1 in the slot, however...

I was out on Waubay Sat & Sun, and the fish were virtually all over. We caught extreme amounts of fish, 4 of us went through 3 scoops of minnows in 4 hours. We were able to find a limit of slot fish both days, but nothing over 20 inches. Sat we found calm water in trees with no one around and bobber fished them in 4-6 feet. It was even faster action than good days on mille lacs last year. Sun we went to the south end of the lake and battled the wind, but the fishing was equally good with limit coming on jig minnow, and even a few on spinners. Fish were 5-15 feet mostly 6-10 feet. Caught a few bonus crappies 13-15 inchers. It was fun !
