Guest
nothing is exactly wrong with these fish i just am used to the 11-13 inch perch out of pelican lake. i guess i got pretty spoiled since the lake is in my backyard. seams as if we have over done it though because i dont know of anyone who has found them this year
Selmer
And what exactly is wrong with 8-10" perch? They're the best tasting fish out there! If you're looking for a fight, set out some dead smelt on tip-ups and relax until the flag flies.Selmer
greebs
I'm afraid you are setting yourself up for disappointment if you are going to be disappointed with anything smaller than that size. That's uncommon to get consistent numbers of large size fish (assume we are talking about perch here) and when it does happen, word spreads quickly and a lake gets fished out quickly it seems. Guess you could always fish where I fish; seems like I have no problem catching 11 - 13 inch fish. (unfortunately they usually are walleyes and can't catch them any bigger than that.)
