How's Blitz progressing? I believe he should be 12 weeks by now. How is the obedience training coming along? Have you had a chance to get him into planted birds yet? How is he adapting to his new family environment?

Willie, I'm a friend of Brian (Beef46) and he's crazy about that dog... thats all I can tell you.

I saw him last week and the training seems to be coming along. Knows his dumping areas well! Blitz is also coming along great. I think Blitz looks better now then when he was 7 or 8 weeks old.
Beef is at home today watchen the kids. That is what he is telling his wife but I think he is going to get the boat out one last time on his little lake. Have any of you been out? Beef did well on his last outing!

Blitz is doing well. Obedience training is going pretty good. He is a wonderful dog. His is 15 weeks now. The gun dog training has been slow due to lack of time on my part but I hope to get at it in the next couple of weeks on a more consistent basis. He is getting big fast.

I wish I could attach a picture but I don't have anywhere to host it.

They do look like they could be related. Blitz is up at Elk River Kennels with Al Freiberg right now going through training for month. I pick him up on January 17th. I can't wait. He will be 6 months on Jan. 2nd.

Beef46 - Sounds like Blitz will be ready for some play time at a game farm when you get him back in January! I went down to LeRoy for a all day hunt with Ben and his Britts last Sunday. Had a great time finding birds and watching his dogs work the fields. Too bad there is only a couple of days left in the season. I'm hoping to get out for one last run at wild birds either today or tomorrow. Good luck with Blitz and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Finally figured out the picture thing. Here is Blitz and 5 1/2 months. I pick him up from training on Monday.

Oh yeah – baby! I can see the LOOK in those eyes. The "LET'S GO GET' EM" look that I'm very familiar with in Buddy! Great looking pup...I bet you're chomp'n-at-the-bit to get him out for a little quality one-on-one time after the training and the deep freeze is over!

PS - Kentuck Ike looks like you have gone and done it again!
