I guess I never would hold one by the jaw like the one guy is and the study shows this is a bad way to hold them. Didn't realize holding them vertical makes em a little dizzy. thatoneguy Posted April 6, 2016 Share Posted April 6, 2016 The big issue is trauma to the jaw when people hold bigger bass incorrectly. Multiple studies I've read show that can dislocate or break their lower jaw, leading to higher mortality rates that are completely avoidable.
