Any ideas on where I can get a good deal on a used Remmington 870 20 gauge youth model shotgun close to the Twin Cities? My boy has been using a .410 Mossberg bolt-action this year and is ready to make the move up! Would also appreciate input regarding any other viable brand or model suggestions! Thanks!

Good luck on finding what you are after. Start immediately - my buddy went to buy a .410 for his boy couple of years ago, and ended up waiting 3 days for his name check to go through. The guy at the gun store told him it happens often. Poor guy had to wait until Christmas eve to actually pick up the gun.

Not sure about used, but maybe check the frontiersman in St.louis Park. They have a huge selection of used. I bought the 870 20G youth for my boy thid year, $249 at sportsmans warehouse. Brian
