Otter Rod Case

Looking at getting a new rod case and looking at the otter case.  I see the outside dimensions on line, but does anyone know how long of a combo you can put in it without having to go diagonal?  I have a few 38" combos I'm hoping to put in it.  Thanks!

The inside width of the otter rod case is 39.25" If your overall rod length from tip to the butt is 38 inches you shouldn't have a problem fitting those combos in there.

FYI some of the tactical rifle cases (black square ones) work just as good and are cheaper. I have both Otter  case and a rifle case, and it is a wash as to which is better. You might have a bit more room in the Otter due to the handle it above the case, rather than "in"  it, but the length is the same. Both work, but the rifle case will stand upright better and you can get two of them for the price of the otter. Good luck, I love both my cases, use rod slicks (buy one big one and make three from it) and no more tangles or broken tips.
