Hunting area 179

I have the opportunity to deer hunt a 40 in this area next year, it's close to the intersection of hwy 7 and cr 8. (Balsam Store) I'm just wondering what the hunting is like in this area? 

The land belongs to my wife's uncle who lives in IL, he doesn't hunt and neither did his brother who gave him the land after passing away 11yrs ago. The uncle tells me the land on 3 sides of his 40 is owned by the paper mill in Rapids, so I would assume the hunting would be good.

I figure I better toss it out here to see what the guys that hunt in this area say about it.

I'd be more concerned with what shape that land is in.  It depends whether that parcel is a gem or dud compared to the surrounding area.  I'd be looking for food, cover, and sign yet this fall to see if there are deer there.
