MARK 1201
I can't remember how to find old topics. My 2 year old IC hangs up when trying to lowwer it down. greased it a few times. But with only 1 zerk it's not so good. I remember seeing a how to take it all a part and clean, and add a zerk. Anyone remember?
Boar
I dont remember seeing a away but remember hearing alot about it, Ive been very liberal with the grease zerks, ive cranked down some then greased zerks, crank down some more greased zerks, and then the same thing cranking up. have not had an issue. where Ive seen the system jump sot to speak is with in the pullys. Ive taken the pullys of the arms one arm at a time to remember how the cables run and spun the pin in 320 grit sand paper or that other stuff tape thingy. and cleaned up the pullies so they roll with the cables alot better., and that helps alot. Hawg
Zerts don't work. Take it apart every couple years and clean it and grease it. Lots of posts on it. I did one about. A month ago myself.
JSK76
I took mine apart and cleaned all the grease off and put a coat of aluminum anti-seize on all the surfaces. Then I took what was left of the 8oz can of anti-seize and mixed it with Amsoil synthetic grease and put it back in the grease tube and grease the house in the up and down positions. As far a taking it apart it's very straight forward. Jack up side of house remove wheels, pull bolt out that goes through the stub axle, remove collar on stub axle, cut zip strips off that hold the brake wires to give slack to pull the axle arm off.you don't have to remove the wheels but it makes it a lot lighter to put back on.
