with grouse hunting starting this weekend time to think about those wonderful little ticks we get.  I've on my second year of these Seresto collars and with three dogs I picked zero ticks off of my dogs this Summer which is a record.  I'm going to supplement the collars with some tick spray I have though, those deer ticks are tough to get off of the dog and in certain spots it seems to swarm with them.  Don't forget to check yourself too, stinks waking up with a bullseye on you from one.

Treat your clothes with Permethrin.  You can spray them from a can, or use a solution.  Cheapest way is to by the concentrate at the farm store, like fleet farm, in the ag chemicals department.

BTW I used the 10% stuff they sell at fleet farm.  like 7 bucks for a pint.   Had no ticks in a week in quetico in June.
