I spent the weekend in SD around the milbank area which is not prime pheasant country. My pointer and I found lots of pheasants and lots of potential public hunting land. Also stopped by 16 farms to see if there was anything I could help them with in the future and to try to secure some hunting permission. Had good success six of the sixteen have said I could hunt there land. My wife is from this area so I will spend some time here not prime pheasant area but people are more willing to allow you to hunt up here and there is alot more public land. Also found some good duck areas but I will not be duck hunting SD.
