Crankbaits and Braid

I set up a crankbait rod with braid for fishing lipless cranks. Just wondering how braid works for other cranks like square bills or even DT6's or 10's?

I know flouro is usually the norm for cranks, but does anyone use braid for these type of cranks?

I will use cranks with braid on rare occasions. Usually this time of year, fishing real thick coontail. 20# braid razors thru it better than fluoro. The downside with braid is it's easier to pull hooks out of fish too, so I fish it on a glass rod most of the time. For squarebills I usually use 17# mono...

I'll echo what RK said.. For the most part, I will not use braid while fishing cranks just because you do end up loosing more fish.  They tend to not get hooked as well, and pull out easier.
