Yes. I believe once you store a track it will remember that track until you record a new track on that button. You have to be near (not sure on distance) that track to get it work again. I have used the same track on multiple days but have since upgraded to link.

Yes, the tracks stay until you do something to them.  Same with anchor points. 

I have yet to play with mine enough to be good at using these features.
