Anybody Hunting This Weekend?

Im leaveing for Iowa at five in the morning to hunt for the day. Has anyone been down there?
Is anyone hunting this weekend?

We ended up with 6 birds yesterday and one with 22 1\2 tail feather the longest one of the year for me.
What is the longest you have shot, I have seen a 24 but how big before you put him on the wall?

Yeah, Iowa has really turned around recently. Thank goodness for a dry spring and moderate temps. I would consider mounting a pheasant by not only weight but color. I have shot some big pheasants and they just were not very colorful. However I have shot some medium sized pheasants that were absolutely stunning. I would definately mount the latter. Well there is my two cents. Have a Good one!

I am going to be hunting again this weekend and was woundering if anybody out there with a shorthair would like to join me?
I will probably be around the Rochester area If no good on sat I will probably go to Iowa on Sunday. (there not deer hunting in Iowa yet)

Just woundering if anyones intrested I would really like to hunt with some more shorthairs
