Grouse Hunting

If anyone is looking for something to do I recommend going up to Ely on a weekend grouse hunt. They say the population is down but if you walk enough you will get some good shooting in.
It has been very consistant all year, I have been seeing more spruce grouse than anything but there are ruffed grouse out there if you just put some effort into it.
Most of the leaves are down now so you can see everything. If you need some info on where to go just let me know.

I'm talking about anywhere on the echo trail, I have seen birds consistantly up there and also by the shagawa river. Also any of the backroads by the school is a great place to start.
