Pointing dog training groups

I have a German Shorthair puppy and I'm wondering if there are any training groups in the Duluth/Superior area? This is the first pointing dog that I've had and I need all the help I can get. Thanks

The GWPCA holds a field trial in Solon Springs, Wi once a year (at least they used to). Lots of talented trainers attend. It's a great way to network with others in the sport. Led me to Backwood kennels where I attended a few of their training days down in River Falls.

Not much help, I know. Google GWPCA and take a look at the HSOforum, they may have some events worth taking a look at. Even NAVHDA may have something worthwhile. Check around, I'm sure there is a pointing dog club around you.

Look up NAVHDA chapters in your area. I believe there is a group near the Hibbing/Chisholm region. Great organization, but I'm a bit biased
