spear foot 1
I would like to try shore fishing pike and walleye in the Waubay/Webster area, and being I have never been there I was wondering if some people can give me some areas to do this, have heard there is suppose to be some good fishing right off the roads in spring when the ice melts. Any general locations would be helpful, and whats the time frame looking like out there as far as ice going off? Thanks for any info. rundrave
the edges are starting to open up but there is still a lot of ice on the lakes. just enough to keep us from open water fishing and not enough to let us ice fish safely.hopefully the wind gets things to open up quicker because it doesn't look like we are going to see any warm weather like we did a couple weeks agobeen a frustrating spring to fish so far weatherwise
carpshooterdeluxe
Get yourself a good pair of waders; that will allow you to walk some of the shallower flooded road beds and pitch jigs off them. Be mindful of parking, and what lakes you are fishing, as there is some tension regarding flooded waters over private land these days up there.
