Getting Boat Ready / Updates

I have a scheduled date in mid April to get the boat all ready for open water. On top of the regular checks, I get the pleasure of adding a few things to my boat this year:

1) Installing a third battery

2) removing two onboard chargers and installing one 3 bank charger.

3)Installing Ipilot (can't wait)

4) Installing an HDS 8 (I've had a hds 5 with SS/DS for two years and I'm going too LOOOOOVE the larger screen.

5) New captians pedestal

Picked just about everything on sale and/or huge discount over the winter months...except for the ipilot. I already had minn kota so I just needed the new head unit.

Just pumped. Only downside to all of this is that my wife wants a new boat and we are heading to the midwest sport show this weekend. Most would think this is a great thing...I kinda do BUT I FINALLY GOT MY BOAT "PIMPED" OUT TO MY LIKINGS AND NOOOOOOOOOOOW SHE WANTS A NEW BOAT. Luckily most everything I bought over the last few months would be able to make its way onto the new boat.

Sounds like a rough life and a horrible dilemma to be in. I wish you best out of this really unfortunate situation.

Probably both...lol It's not a bad problem but still a problem none the less. Just super excited to get the boat ready and get everyhting I ever wanted on my boat...I would just "hate" to have to start all over again...

Check the various boat sales sites (including the one here) for something that has what you want. Then tell her you found her a new boat. Might take a bit but just tell her "I want YOU to have the PERFECT boat". May work
