Mid-Lake Rock
Yesterday, I fished in Wright County. Shoreline was starting to go, but able to walk on with little problem. There was one wheeler on the lake. There was enough ice that I would be comfortable on a wheeler. I am headed far north next weekend. JBMasterAngler
I was still driving my truck on burntside lake (Ely) today. Main lake ice was about 3 ft thick, close to the shorelines it was a few inches thinner, and starting to melt along the rocks.
Mid-Lake Rock
I am in the Park Rapids area right now. Fished the last two days on four different lakes. No problems with accesses using an ATV. Most lakes in the area have 20" or more of ice. It is honeycombed. Went to one lake today that had about 12" to 15". I am going to try to get out next Saturday. Good luck to all the other ice heads!
