Superduty
Has anybody seen the new E6X rods in a store in MN?

Hawg
What's Loomis call a split grip, they look like solid 1 piece to me?
Todd S.
Hawg-if you were looking on cabelas site from phone, the e6x has two different sub categories, they make the rods in full grip and split grip in certain powers.

Deitz Dittrich
I have not had a chance to use one yet. They are lighter than GL2, and feel better than GL2 which are about the same price.
Todd S.
I ordered 2 of these, 1st one showed up yesterday. It certainly passes the eye test
Hawg
JMHO but I never liked G2's, just seemed clunky to me.
Todd S.
Ctrl_alt_delete-yes I am using the new E6X, so far I really like it, I bought 2 of the 7'5" jwr rods as designated jig rods, and have caught about 15 fish on them so far. They are great, sensitivity, tip action, and power all great. I have Lews Tournament Pros on them and they feel really good in the palm. They feel a little tip heavy, but they are 5" longer than any other rod I have, so I'm sure that's relevant. I tend to fish a jig with the rod tip down most of the time, so in the long run I might actually like the heavier feeling tip, time will tell.
