That time of year again

It's time for me and about 30 other women to head over to Lake Gogebic for our "Teeter Pig" outing. This will be my second year and while I didn't catch a whole lot last year I did manage my biggest ever perch, 13 1/2". Some pretty tough ice conditions with a ton of snow on top of the ice and immediate flooding when you drill your holes, but it is loads of fun. Last year I tore the meniscus in my left knee on the ice and I have my fingers crossed that I can come back without any injuries. The local motels have a "hog-a-thon" the weekend after we are going to be there and I have heard there are some monsters caught. I will be happy to get another one like last year.
