O'Dowds

Anyone been to O'Dowds recently? Not looking for specific info, just how fishing has been.

I was on Odowd yesterday and it was good but I noticed the lake is alot weedier and clearer than usual so I think they did not drop the pellots to knock the weeds down.Also the lake was pretty green and it is usually brown from the pellots .The lake is down at least a foot and 1/2 .But all in all in 4 hours of fishing my wife and I caught 4 and missed 5 so we almost batted 500.My wife gets to excited when they boil up on her scum frog so she was pulling the lure out of their mouth before they could really inhale it.What a lot of fun though watching her freak out!!LOL

Thanks for the reply. We fished yesterday morning and had some fish, but nothing too big. We probably lost four or five fish as well.

Dang Basswacker, you're all over the place. Do you mainly fish west and south metro? I'm more west and SW. I like Carver Co lakes to. Plus Tonka.
