Minnkota and iPilot Link

I'm looking to purchase a Minnkota Terrova with the iPilot Link. According to a Cabelas employee, in order to set a course based on the contours of the Lakemaster maps, I need an 800 series Humminbird sonar/gps unit no more than two years old. I can't find anything on Minnkota's or Humminbird's websites that indicates this. Can anybody confirm this for me?

The Follow the Contour function of i-Pilot Link

requires an i-Pilot Link enabled LakeMaster SD

Card or a Humminbird AutoChart SD Card. Look

for the i-Pilot Link logo on the packaging

*Minn Kota motors with built in Universal Sonar 2 (including those with i-Pilot Link) are not compatible with Humminbird’s Down Imaging Sonar.

An external XTM 9 WIDE DI 20 T transducer would be required for all sonar readings with these Humminbird models: 1159ci HD DI, 1158c DI,

959ci HD DI, 958c HD DI, 958c DI, 859ci HD DI, 858c HD DI, 858c DI. An external XTM 9 DI 25 T transducer would be required for the 788ci HD DI.

‡These units require Ethernet Adaptor Cable AS EC QDE
