electric winches on ice castle?

Hey guys my winches on my ice castle seem to have seen better days. They seem extremely hard to crank up. I looked into new winches and they are over 100 bucks a piece. So I am kicking around the idea of putting on some electric at v winches instead. Has anyone ever done this? Thoughts?

Are you sure that the problem is the winches and not corrosion. Seems like most of the posts about the cranking thing are about needed in grease things up.
