leechlake
I went to Cabelas today to buy an LX-5 as a gift for someone. When I got to the area a customer and his wife were asking all the questions of an employee and they were standing right in front of the boxes of LX-5's. I waited a minute and then said "excuse me" grabbed one and walked away. They were all laughing that I'd just grab one and go. Little did they know I had a lifetime of opinions on this site to make my decision. Since it's not for me the decision was even easier, I'm sure he'll love it and I will too. The finder he has now is so old and so loud and constantly has interference on it, frankly I can't even remember the brand.
fishersofmen
I just got home from Cabelas in Rogers dang that place was packed today. At least that line going to the back of the store moved fast! I didn't plan on buying anything just stopped in with the kids but they had waterfowl camo jackets marked way down so I couldn't pass it by. Did they have any deals on those flashers leech or did you pay full price?
redneckdan
I tend to shop the same way. I go to the vendor knowing exactly what I want. When I bought my most recent car I went to the dealer with cash in hand for the down payment. The first sales person tried to upsell me even after I stated exactly what I want. Finally I got [PoorWordUsage], stood up and went to the next sales desk. She was smart enough to just order the dang car and take my money. She said she sees that a lot with the younger generation. They come in knowing what they want and playing the salesman's game tends to turn them off form the sale.
JoeMX1825
I do all my research prior to purchasing and then look online for the best deal with free shipping and preferably a coupon/discount code. It's amazing the $$ you save after doing a little investigative work...
