What does everyone think of this crappy weather forecast? Sounds like ice is gonna take a beating!

We have up to 12 inches of clear, hard ice up here. I think it will fare okay with the 30's that are coming. The worst beating it will take will be all the holes that get drilled over the next week or so! It'd be worse if we got a foot or more of snow, so I'm thankful for the good ice we have now.

It takes quite some time for 40+ degree weather to affect the ice. We'll be just fine.

Most of the lakes around Wright County are at like 8 to 9 inches of ice. I don't thick it will hurt the ice that bad. the good thing thou is that it should help cut the snow cover that is on the lakes right now and bring the ice back to just bare ice. once it starts to freeze again we should have bare ice unless we get some more snow with this after the warm up tapers off.

Even the warm days it's going to be at or below freezing at night. The sunlight isn't very direct right now either and getting weaker by the day so I'm not too concerned about it.
