Nisswaguy
I know certain resorts allow leaving your wheelhouse on shore at their resort for a nominal fee. If I'm interested in doing this, is some sort of reservation needed? More importantly, has anyone run into issues with theft or vandalism while leaving your wheelhouse on shore at a resort? Mid-Lake Rock
I leave my house at a resort on Mille Lacs. The owner and his staff keep an eagle eye on customer houses and I have not had any issues with vandalism. I will even leave my house on the ice during the week and the staff drives by several times each day. They also keep a driveway plowed for me so I can easily access my house when I arrive on Friday night. One piece of advice I received from a resort owner is to not store the house at a resort with a bar. Drunks will leave at closing time and steal or damage fish houses. broman
I left mine at Appeldoorns on Mill Lacs for a few years. No issues. If you leave it way on the lake then make sure you jack it up so the snow doesn't bowl around it and create large banks.
