rickwalley
Aren't the mounting holes on the back of LP regulators supposed to be threaded? I'm looking at a new Gas-Flo brand dual stage regulator and all 4 holes in the mounting standoffs are smooth inside. Am I not looking at this right? Otherwise, I swear if I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.
Hawg
Mine is. That's how the bracket fastens to it. This is a Mr Heater dual one though.
Smoker
The one I got needed the self tapping screws. The guy at the LP place gave them to me when I bought the regulator. The holes do not come with threads in them.
Hawg
I double checked and mine are pretty a fine thread for self tapping but might be like smoker said also. It's hard to tell once their done and I can't remember for sure when I did it. A little epoxy would harden in there too if you can't get self tapping screws and want to do it today.
