Still Chasing

Finished up our gun season today ( and it was a great day to be in the stand) between the 6 of us we saw 24 deer 3 Bucks, and they were all hot on the trail of aparently a hot doe.. I had a nice 8 pointer grunting like a pig following 4 does and my gun didn't fire, apparenly was trying to be to quiet in the morning loading the gun.. Most of the action was between 1:30 and 3:00 PM.. I also seen 3 very fresh scrapes, so there not done yet...

My brother shot a nice buck Saturday morning that was grunting and chasing a doe. I saw 6 deer in the first hour before I got down to help him drag his deer out. They were definitely moving with the warmer weather!

I was doing some insulation work at home and didn't hunt this weekend but live in the Mpls suburbs and have 3 scrapes within 100 yards from my house. On sat I saw a 180 - 190 inch 12 point in my backyard with a doe. Biggest deer I've seen - watched him for a minute or so from 30 yards before he left. I have a full freezer but that deer gave me the ambition to go get a muzzleloader tag and go back out.

Had 10 deer in the food plot last night . 2 of them were bucks , they didn't chase but they did spar 3 time ! That was fun to watch !
