Flip over poles

So I bought a used 3 man flip over and the slide poles are a bit corroded and don't slide the easiest. Any idea's on how to get them to slide easier?

Take the poles apart and use a 12 gage shot gun rod with the brass brush on a electric drill to clean out the upper tubes. Use steel wool on the bottom tubes and emery cloth on the sharp edges to round them off so they don't pinch. Spray Silacon in the tubes or wax the bottom poles.

Do exactly as he said. Have doone it myself and worked very well.
