Parking on township roads....Please Don't!

Recommended Posts

Just a reminder, please do not leave your locked vehicles on narrow roads. If you must park on the road please get all the way in the ditch. It does not work very well to back a combine or tractor up for a half mile. Combined about 200 acres so far and have yet to see a rooster, saw one brood the other day that were about 2/3 grown no color.

Was going down a township road with the combine the other day and this guy parks on the shoulder of the road (seen me coming), lets his dog out and starts his hunt on a small WPA - not more than 100 yards from the WPA approach - Unbelievable! I got around him, but it was a bit of a struggle. This happens ALL the time.

Just a reminder. Please take your corn/bean heads off of your combine before driving it down the road. It does not work very well to have to take the ditch because a mammoth sized machine is coming down the road, with 3 gravity wagons in tow all over the place, and a corn head attached to the front of it.

Lots of young roosters out there. I'm colorblind and have a real hard time seeing the difference between a real young rooster and a hen.

Agreed get off the road if you're parked.
