We went out on White Bear Lake for the first time in our new Ranger Reata 2050LS to test out the new rig and throw some muskie baits around. The wind was rippin' so we had to fish inside of that pocket by the Yacht Club. It was calm back there so I put the boat in about 6 FOW w/ nice weed growth. I put on a cowgirl and within 5 minutes of fishing there I saw this fish come up off the bottom and hammer my cowgirl.

Just a long skinny 42 incher but it was the first one in the new Ranger AND it was on it's first day on the water! grinwinkcrazyfull-43080-50002-wbl42.jpg

Yeah same here on the skinny part...but hey our goal was a 40" incher before the end of the open water and we did on the first day. grin

Now to just get a 50" in that boat... wink
