topo maps

Looking to purchase a large topo map to put on the wall for deer camp. I once heard REI sold them but after checking, they no longer do. Anyone know where I can get a custom made, large detailed topo map? Heard there may be a place near Plymouth? Would perfer to go into a store and custom make it then online but I'll take whatever as long as I can pick the area.

You can get the USGS Topo maps for free online and print them out on a color printer.

Most surveying companies have plotters that could print you something like that. I know some USDA Service Centers have the ability to print large maps as well, all have the mapping software to get you a detailed print.

mytopo sells them. otherwise if you have computer skills you can print out your own and tape them together.

thats what i did. Just looking for something nice that can hang on a cabin wall and look nice...not having tape and oddly cut pieces of paper.
