Clam Ice Auger Conversion Kit Drill Plate ??

Will the conversion kit fit augers other than the Lazer?

More specifically will it fit a nils hand auger? others?

Does the kit allow one to lock in the auger shaft so it won't fall down the hole?

the conversion kit will not work with a nils hand auger. the shaft diameter is different. as for how the shaft hooks to the adapter it is bolted through the auger like a gas auger so the auger will not fall off.
