Bought a honda generator.eu2000. This is my 5th brand of generator over the years. Only ran it for 30 minutes but the quality is better than any other I have had. Also bought clam adapter plate. Instructions seem hard to read as they are dark. Cant really see picts. Will have to fumble thru that. Seems very sturdy.

So I ask your opinion on hole covers for my drop down. Do you prefer the black ones or clear ones and why. Need hole covers as I don't want my boy or dog to fall in hole.

I've got the clear ones and my buddy has black homemade iron grates. I haven't seen the plastic black ones. But I definitely prefer the clear ones to help see through the hole and I can stand on them just fine.

You need to buy the ones made for your brand of hole covers. You can make them out of plywood too but the storebought one are very light and store well.

probably wasn't clear. Wondering about the clear or black covers that have slits in them so you can still fish with the covers on them.

have heard the clear ones are more flexible. Wondering if there are issues with either of them having the holes freeze as there would not be as much air flow. probably putting too much thought into this. Important too not have anything dropped at night or step in holes when getting up during the night.

Just to clarify, this is what I have. I also like them because if you have the Catch cover sleeves they work if them too, just have to move the screws to the inner holes.

Thats looks like them. They also make a clear one. Looking for pro/con of each.
