Mongrel Koi
I have a .50 cal CVA that I have neglected in the past that has gotten really rusty and pitted. I have cleaned it up well a few times and have kept it clean for a couple years now. But the barrel remains somewhat pitted inside. My question is: Will this affect the accuracy or safety of this rifle? Maybe that's two questions, but as long as I can still force a bullet down the barrel it will still come out upon firing, correct? As for accuracy I will have to probably test that out at the range for myself. Thanks for any input.
