Flipover Hauler

Got my new flipover shelter & want to mod my hitch cargo carrier to transport it. Has anyone done this? I would love some ideas, recommendations, and pics. Already added lights, max capacity 500lbs so have plenty of room. Would especially like ideas for loadind/unloading with ramp or such.

depends on which carrier you have, you might not need to do any mods to it.

here is the carrier I used when I needed too. (no longer have the big house and the blazer in the pics)

here it is with my old house on it.

to hook it down I would run a racket strap each direction and just hook it in the holes on the carrier or under the carrier on the frame of it.

the biggest thing is to make sure the house is not close to your exhaust pipe. the heat it gives off has melted houses on people that is why I went with adding the z bend bar to raise it up higher and away from the exhaust. adding the lights to the carrier is a must. I got pulled over once before I added them for having blocked tail lights. only got a warning from the deputy.

even the larger houses are not that hard to load on to one of these. what I did was to put the one end up on the carrier and then slid it on the rest of the way.
