So.....What kind of Coral is this?

I'm still not great at identifying my corals. I believe it was found on underground wood.

Maybe Matt or Stick will know, but it looks enough like this "laxative"variety for me to say let the Mrs try it first

Yeah, I tossed it as I wasn't sure but was hoping for future reference I would know.

If it ain't crown-tipped, I toss it. Appears to be white coral or possibly jellied false. Both are supposedly edible, none for me thanks... Crown-tipped isn't even tasty enough for me to want to try other species. It's a good mixer/filler, but all club and coral is much cooler to photo than consume IMO.

It looks like jellied false to me, at least at first glance. I just found 5-6 huge clusters a couple days ago. It's tempting because it adds up much quicker than CTC, but it smells funky to me... Part mushroom, but nasty chemical. I've never attempted to eat any.
