Best bass fishing ever

I went out Thursday morning and had my personal best day for number of bass caught. Stated at 6:30 and had 10 by 10 am. Ended up with a total of 14 by noon. Biggest was 21" followed by two at 17" and several in the 12-16 range.

Just out of curiosity, I checked the solunar table for that day and it only had a 40 rating. So much for putting any faith in that as an indicator.

Very interesting because the same day I caught nine bass from 0630 'till 0900. Five on the casting rod and vintage plug and four on the fly rod and deer hair bass bugs. Lost four more and had several smacks.

Makes you wonder what was so special about that day?

Could it be that out angling skills were just at a perfect pitch that day? Ha Ha Ha.

Fun morning wasn't it. Oh.....and none of those bass were small.

I also lost about 5 more. Regarding skill level, I think I have mastered the bass vs sunny take on the plastic worm, which helps a lot. All mine were caught on a 7" power bait worm, motor oil color.
