Need Help with Shore Fishing Locations for Lake Minnetonka Muskies

I'm relatively new to the muskie fishing world, and I've got my eyes set on Lake Minnetonka for a good pure-bred gator. However, I don't have a boat, and don't know of where the best shore-fishing location for muskies is. None of you have to reveal your secret honey hole, I just need someone to tell me where the best place to go on Minnetonka for muskies is. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There are muskies scattered all over the lake and very little shorline is publicly accessible which is why no one has any suggestions,talk about a needle in a haystack...All of the muskies I habe caught and seen on Minnetonka were well off of any publicly accessible shoreline.I guess drive around and try all the public shorelines and channels you can access.My suggestion would be to get your hands on a boat if you want to have good sucess on muskies on Tonka,or else try the city lakes in Mpls as you can walk nearly the whole shoreline of all of them.

It's a bit of a drive, but if you want unlimited shore fishing for muskie, give the zumbro river a thought. Lot's of the the ski's they stock in zumbro lake fight their way downstream...DNR might even stock some in the river, I'm not 100% sure. I caught a little one once while bass fishing down there, and I hear there are some big ones swimming around as well. There's also plenty of smallmouth bass and a brown trout or 2 to catch.
