walleyeking19
Well I'm ready to get out duck hunting again and the only way for me to pass the time is watch hunting videos on youtube! Here's a video that a buddy of mine made of our trip to North Dakota last year. It was an awesome trip and we got a few birds as you can see! I just forgot to share it with you guys earlier! Hope this makes the wait till September easier! Enjoy!
carpshooterdeluxe
Was that 9 or 10 spinners in that spread?
FowlSki
"Limitless"- that sounds like a name for a Jeff Foiles video.Nice video. It must have been tricky IDing drakes with the sun in your face.
walleyeking19
Was that 9 or 10 spinners in that spread? I think it was something like 11 or 12 spinners actually! And the sun was brutal so about halfway through the first part of the video we flipped around and faced away from the sun so we could actually see the birds
carpshooterdeluxe
How pressured were the birds? Any time I've hunted in ND including living there for 2 duck seasons we never needed more than 3 spinners, usually 1 was all we used. No wonder ducks barely give us a look in SD unless we have 4 or 5 in the spread now. 60 day old ducks seeing 12 spinners from the get go...conditions the flyway pretty quick! Kyle
Where did you get the unharvested wheat at that time of year that you used on your blind?
walleyeking19
Where did you get the unharvested wheat at that time of year that you used on your blind? We were able to find a bunch that was just laying in the field that morning. I've never really seen that much left in a field to be honest!
